Compassionate, whole-person counseling for individuals and families in Reserve and the surrounding area. We treat addiction, trauma, and mental health together, not in separate silos.
If you're living in Reserve and carrying the weight of addiction, anxiety, depression, or trauma, you're not alone in this struggle. Working along the Mississippi River, where the industrial heartbeat of St. John Parish keeps communities moving forward, many people find themselves caught between the demands of daily life and the pain they're trying to manage. That weight is real, and it matters.
Integrative Recovery Therapies is here to help you heal, without shame or judgment. We offer telehealth services to Reserve residents, bringing whole-person care right to your home. We address mental health and substance use together because we know they're connected. Real recovery means treating all of you, not just one piece of the puzzle. You deserve support that understands your whole story.
Reserve's economy is deeply tied to the petrochemical industry, which brings both opportunity and stress to families and workers. When job security feels uncertain or workplace pressures mount, mental health challenges and substance use often follow quietly. Community members deserve support that understands these real pressures, along with local resources that meet people where they are. Compassionate care helps individuals and families build resilience while staying rooted in the community they call home.
No labels, no lecturing. Every client is treated with dignity, like a member of our own family.
Mental health and addiction are treated together, not in separate silos. Because they are rarely separate.
We believe in honesty. We will challenge you respectfully, and we will stay with you when the work is hard.

Yes. Integrative Recovery Therapies accepts both Medicaid and Medicare, as well as select commercial insurance plans and private pay options. We believe quality mental health and addiction care should be accessible regardless of income or insurance status. Please call us at (504) 229-2244 to confirm your specific plan before your first appointment.
Our IOP runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 PM, specifically so you can maintain your work and family commitments. Groups typically include around eight participants and focus on psychoeducation, skills training, peer support, and relapse prevention. IOP is a strong fit for people who need more structure than weekly therapy provides but do not require residential care. If you are unsure whether IOP is the right level of care, we will assess that together honestly during your intake conversation.
That is one of the most honest and important questions someone can ask. Many people have been through systems that treated them as a diagnosis rather than a whole person, or that separated their mental health from their addiction, or that relied on shame and compliance rather than genuine connection. At IRT, we build trust before technique. Sessions are never rushed or checklist-driven. We treat addiction and mental health together, address the underlying emotional and relational experiences, and stay with you even when the process is not linear. If we are not the right fit after all, we will say so honestly and help you find someone who is.
If you've been thinking about reaching out, we're here in Reserve, ready to listen with honesty and without judgment, whenever you're ready to take that step.
