You Don't Have to Figure This Out Alone

If you're carrying the weight of addiction, anxiety, depression, or trauma in New Orleans, you know how heavy it can get. This city has survived so much—from the levees to the streets where neighbors still rebuild together—and that resilience lives in your bones. But sometimes resilience isn't enough when you're struggling alone, and that's okay. You don't have to keep carrying this by yourself.

Integrative Recovery Therapies is here for New Orleans residents through telehealth counseling that treats the whole person, not just the symptom. We work with both mental health and substance use together, because we know they're connected. You'll find no shame here, no judgment, just real support from people who understand that healing is possible for you.

The Kind of Care New Orleans Deserves

New Orleans residents face unique pressures, from the hospitality industry's seasonal instability to the ongoing effects of Hurricane Katrina and subsequent storms on housing security and trust in institutions. Mental health and addiction support matters here because real recovery requires understanding these lived experiences. Compassionate, whole-person care means providers who recognize how economic strain, grief, and displacement shape people's struggles, and who meet folks with honesty rather than judgment.

You Are Treated as a Peer

No labels, no lecturing. Every client is treated with dignity, like a member of our own family.

Whole-Person, Integrated Care

Mental health and addiction are treated together, not in separate silos. Because they are rarely separate.

Yes. Integrative Recovery Therapies accepts both Medicaid and Medicare, as well as select commercial insurance plans and private pay options. We believe quality mental health and addiction care should be accessible regardless of income or insurance status. Please call us at (504) 229-2244 to confirm your specific plan before your first appointment.

Our IOP runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 PM, specifically so you can maintain your work and family commitments. Groups typically include around eight participants and focus on psychoeducation, skills training, peer support, and relapse prevention. IOP is a strong fit for people who need more structure than weekly therapy provides but do not require residential care. If you are unsure whether IOP is the right level of care, we will assess that together honestly during your intake conversation.

That is one of the most honest and important questions someone can ask. Many people have been through systems that treated them as a diagnosis rather than a whole person, or that separated their mental health from their addiction, or that relied on shame and compliance rather than genuine connection. At IRT, we build trust before technique. Sessions are never rushed or checklist-driven. We treat addiction and mental health together, address the underlying emotional and relational experiences, and stay with you even when the process is not linear. If we are not the right fit after all, we will say so honestly and help you find someone who is.

This Is Recovery That Is Human

Whether you're in New Orleans or anywhere else, reaching out is a sign of strength, and you'll find honesty and acceptance waiting for you here.
