Compassionate, whole-person counseling for individuals and families in Cut Off and the surrounding area. We treat addiction, trauma, and mental health together, not in separate silos.
Living in Cut Off, you know what it means to weather storms—both the literal ones that test this community and the inner ones that many of us carry alone. If you're struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, or trauma, that weight is real, and you don't have to keep carrying it by yourself.
Integrative Recovery Therapies understands that mental health and substance use are connected, and healing works best when we treat the whole person. We offer telehealth counseling right here for Cut Off residents, meeting you where you are without shame or judgment. Change is possible, and you deserve support that honors both your struggles and your strength.
Cut Off's economy relies heavily on the oil and petrochemical industries, work that brings both stability and stress to families. When jobs shift or the industry faces uncertainty, the ripple effects touch mental health and substance use across the community. People here deserve support that understands their specific pressures: counselors who recognize the strain of industrial work, the weight of supporting families, and the real challenges of seeking help in a tight-knit place. Compassionate, whole-person care means meeting people where they are and helping them build resilience alongside their neighbors.
No labels, no lecturing. Every client is treated with dignity, like a member of our own family.
Mental health and addiction are treated together, not in separate silos. Because they are rarely separate.
We believe in honesty. We will challenge you respectfully, and we will stay with you when the work is hard.

Yes. Integrative Recovery Therapies accepts both Medicaid and Medicare, as well as select commercial insurance plans and private pay options. Our IOP runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 PM, specifically so you can maintain your work and family commitments. Groups typically include around eight participants and focus on psychoeducation, skills training, peer support, and relapse prevention. IOP is a strong fit for people who need more structure than weekly therapy provides but do not require residential care. If you are unsure whether IOP is the right level of care, we will assess that together honestly during your intake conversation.
That is one of the most honest and important questions someone can ask. Many people have been through systems that treated them as a diagnosis rather than a whole person, or that separated their mental health from their addiction, or that relied on shame and compliance rather than genuine connection. At IRT, we build trust before technique. Sessions are never rushed or checklist-driven. We treat addiction and mental health together, address the underlying emotional and relational experiences, and stay with you even when the process is not linear. If we are not the right fit after all, we will say so honestly and help you find someone who is.
If you've been thinking about reaching out, we're here in Cut Off, ready to listen with honesty and without judgment, whenever you're ready to take that next step.
