You Don't Have to Figure This Out Alone

If you're struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, or trauma in Bastrop, you know how heavy it can feel. Whether you're here along the Colorado River or anywhere else in our community, that weight is real and understandable. You're not alone in this, and reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Integrative Recovery Therapies serves Bastrop residents through telehealth counseling that treats the whole person. We address mental health and substance use together, without shame or judgment. Our therapists believe that recovery is possible, and we're here to walk alongside you with honesty, compassion, and real support.

The Kind of Care Bastrop Deserves

Bastrop's economy has long depended on oil and gas industries, work that can be physically demanding and isolating. When economic shifts happen or workplace injuries occur, the stress can feed into substance use and mental health struggles that don't get addressed. Real healing means understanding these pressures and finding support that fits your life, not generic solutions. Compassionate care here means recognizing what you're actually facing and meeting you where you are.

You Are Treated as a Peer

No labels, no lecturing. Every client is treated with dignity, like a member of our own family.

Whole-Person, Integrated Care

Mental health and addiction are treated together, not in separate silos. Because they are rarely separate.

Accountability With Compassion

We believe in honesty. We will challenge you respectfully, and we will stay with you when the work is hard.

Questions About Mental Health Care in Bastrop

Yes. Integrative Recovery Therapies accepts both Medicaid and Medicare, as well as select commercial insurance plans and private pay options. We believe quality mental health and addiction care should be accessible regardless of income or insurance status. Please call us at (504) 229-2244 to confirm your specific plan before your first appointment.

Our IOP runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 PM, specifically so you can maintain your work and family commitments. Groups typically include around eight participants and focus on psychoeducation, skills training, peer support, and relapse prevention. IOP is a strong fit for people who need more structure than weekly therapy provides but do not require residential care. If you are unsure whether IOP is the right level of care, we will assess that together honestly during your intake conversation.

That is one of the most honest and important questions someone can ask. Many people have been through systems that treated them as a diagnosis rather than a whole person, or that separated their mental health from their addiction, or that relied on shame and compliance rather than genuine connection. At IRT, we build trust before technique. Sessions are never rushed or checklist-driven. We treat addiction and mental health together, address the underlying emotional and relational experiences, and stay with you even when the process is not linear. If we are not the right fit after all, we will say so honestly and help you find someone who is.

This Is Recovery That Is Human

If you've been carrying this alone in Bastrop, we're here to listen with honesty and without judgment whenever you're ready to take that first step.
